Updating an old Miranda NG version to 0.95.1 or later at once will result in database converting failure and profile corruption.
Updating an old Miranda NG version to 0.95.1 or later at once will result in database converting failure and profile corruption.
Old Miranda NG versions must be updated to 0.94.9 at first and only after that – to 0.95.1 and later. These versions are too old to be updated by PluginUpdater.
Upgrade with the installer
- Please use installer-updater and point it to existing Miranda installation.
- The installer will update the binaries to 0.94.9 version.
- After update is over please run database check with DbChecker
- After that you may continue using PluginUpdater for later updates.

- Go in the options to Events → PluginUpdater, check "Custom version" and enter the URL http://miranda-ng.org/distr/deprecated/0.94.9/x%platform%
- Update with PluginUpdater
- After that you may continue using PluginUpdater for later updates (don't forget to change the URL in the options above back).
Upgrade with IM Updater
IM Updater plugin for Miranda IM updates it to Miranda NG 0.94.9 which can be afterwards updated to the latest version by PluginUpdater.
