== Upgrading Miranda NG ==
* Please install and run {{Plugin|DbChecker}} before update. You cannot install {{Plugin|DbChecker}} via {{Plugin|PluginUpdater}}, so you should manually download {{Plugin|DbChecker}} for your build from [https://miranda-ng.org/distr/deprecated/ here].
* Download the installer:

** [https://miranda-ng.org/distr/deprecated/0.94.9/miranda-ng-v0.94.9_x64-updater.exe Installer-updater for Miranda NG pre-0.94.9 (64-bit version)]
* Run the installer and point it to existing Miranda installation (in most cases installer will find the path automatically). The installer will update the binaries to 0.94.9 version.
* After that you may continue using {{Plugin|PluginUpdater}} for later updates.

=== For Dbx_tree users ===
{{Plugin|Dbx_tree}} driver is discontinued, to switch to {{Plugin|Dbx_mmap}} keeping all your data please follow these instructions:
* Run the installer from this page over current Miranda installation. It will revert Miranda to 0.94.9 version with {{Plugin|Dbx_tree}} plugin included.
* Export settings to <tt>INI</tt> file with {{Plugin|DbEditorPP|database editor}} and history with {{Plugin|BasicHistory}} (per contact) or {{Plugin|UInfoEx}} (globally).
* Then you can start on 0.95.1 with {{Plugin|Dbx_mmap}} as database driver, import settings, then history.

== Upgrading Miranda IM ==
{{Plugin|IM Updater}} plugin for Miranda IM updates it to Miranda NG 0.94.9 which can be afterwards updated to the latest version by {{Plugin|PluginUpdater}}.
