Miranda NG speichert alle Ihre Einstellungen und Verläufe in der sogenannten Profildatei (*.dat). Sie können dabei mehrere Profildateien anlegen. Auch kann so jeder Windows-Benutzer seine eigenen Profile in seinem Benutzerverzeichnis anlegen.
Profilverzeichnis
Das Verzeichnis, in welchem Ihre Profile gespeichert und gesucht werden, wird in der mirandaboot.ini im Eintrag ProfileDir festgelegt. Dabei gilt:
- Für portable Installationen sollten dieses ein Unterverzeichnis Ihrer Miranda-Installation sein, also bspw. \Profiles.
- Für stationäre Installationen sollte dieses relativ zu %APPDATA% sein, also bspw. %APPDATA%\Miranda NG
