This is a documentation subpage for Template:Emptycat . It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This is the {{Emptycat}} template.

It can be placed at the top of any category page for which it is normal that it sometimes is empty. This is typical for some maintenance, tracking and clean-up categories.

Experience has shown that people sometimes delete those categories, thinking they are no longer in use.

Options

• Adding parameter |hide=true makes the template invisible.
