Этот плагин позволяет автоматически обновить Miranda IM до Miranda NG последней версии. Необходимо просто распаковать содержимое архива в папку программы Miranda IM и перезапустить её. IM Updater делает следующее:

* замещает основные исполняемые файлы и соответствующие плагины их эквивалентами из NG
* переименовывает старые Юникод-плагины, в именах которых стоит буква <tt>W</tt> в конце
* делает резервную копию всех неподдерживаемых плагинов
* позволяет выбрать в качестве источника плагинов стабильную или находящуюся в разработке сборку
