This is a documentation subpage for Template:Missing information .
It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

Purpose

The tag should be used when it is believed that certain general information is not present in the article but it is necessary to include it.

Caveats

This template will categorise articles into Category:Articles to be expanded except this template.
This template cannot be substituted.

Syntax

{{Missing information|description|date=June 2024}} will produce:

This article is missing information about description. Please expand the article to include this information. (June 2024)

{{Missing information|section|description|date=June 2024}} will produce:

This section is missing information about description. Please expand the section to include this information. (June 2024)
